All orders go through a 24-48 hour processing time. And once shipped, you will receive a tracking number. All US orders typically take 14 days to arrive at your door.

Will the sand eventually mix together?

No! We use different types of sand with different densities which fall at different rates. This prevents the sand from mixing together and allows the beautiful, ever changing landscapes to form in a different pattern every time.

How can I adjust the speed of the falling sand?

If there are few air bubbles, the sand will fall faster. To make the sand fall slower, first let the quicksand stand still at the bottom. The air bubbles should be on the top. Next, shake the glass enclosed sand. It will generate more air bubbles, and the sand will flow slower.

Another method to adjust the flow rate is to use a syringe to inject or remove air which will affect the amount of bubbles. There is a place along the outer edge of the round rim where the needle of the syringe can be inserted.
